Jacob’s love for barbecue started at a young age when he and his family would stop in for post baseball game meals at Lexington BBQ back in North Carolina.
Growing up in Charlotte, North Carolina, Jacob had the pleasure of indulging in both the eastern and western North Carolina bbq styles. He later attended college at the University of South Carolina where he often ventured into Carolina gold mustard sauce at tailgates.

Since moving to Denver a few years ago, Jacob has gotten into barbecue seriously. In his free time, Jacob can be found in the mountains snowboarding, playing with his two dogs, Aspen and Luna, or cooking out with friends and family while watching sports and enjoying a cold one.
